and here it is: Dressage is all about circles, and using circles to make straight lines.

ReplyDeleteCircles-They can increase one's balance. And the horse,as well as theperson will have a "slightly bent" direction they lean on. Flexion and counter flexion to and away from thehorses natural bent should increase the track in which the hind follows.
I like the Sally Swift exercises to free up one's ridig side to allow the horse to move free itself.
"In Riding Logic" ere mentioned,I read:
"AHorse is is said straight when it is equally flexible on both sides and the hind legs follow exactly the track made by the forelegs, no matter whethere the horse is going in a straight line or circling."..." ONly a stright horse can go with proper equilibrium, with free, even paces and develope it's natural swing"...
